Cody Weight, Founder + President
Cody Weight, Founder and President of Solitude Homes, brings over two decades of custom home building experience to every project in Treasure Valley. Born and raised in Springville, Utah, Cody earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Utah, where he was a student-athlete and team captain for the Utah Utes football team. His experience in competitive athletics taught him invaluable lessons in teamwork, communication, and leadership—skills that define his approach to building custom homes today.
Cody is a respected leader in Idaho's home building industry. He previously served as President of the Building Contractors Association of Southwestern Idaho (BCASWI), where he championed efforts to keep homeownership affordable. He currently serves on the board of directors for the Idaho State Home Builders Association, working to preserve the American Dream of homeownership.
Cody has guided Solitude Homes through both prosperous times and industry challenges, including the Great Recession and COVID-19 pandemic. Under his leadership, Solitude Homes has earned over 30 Parade of Homes Awards and been featured in national and international design magazines, establishing the company as a premier custom home builder in Idaho.
While Cody is deeply passionate about floor plan design and interior finishes, his greatest strength lies in building lasting relationships rooted in trust.
